Within the abstract genre Plesh uses media and surface literally to explore, creating visuals which captivate the viewer with intrigue, drawing them in. . His works permit, in fact encourage the viewer to utilize not only imagination, but emotional responses – not based on the literal, descriptive or obvious, but rather on the abstract expression seen and felt from within.       -Nena Black
